The Ukiyoe CMS

Settings

Ukiyoe can be customized via a uconfig.py file in ukiyoe/ (one is already included, please revise it). Only certain settings are dynamic and need no further changes (e.g. enabling CONFIG['enable_rss'] will turn on RSS without any further modifications), while others require updating hard-coded sections (e.g. changing CONFIG['comment_prefix'] would require replacing all the comment prefixes in .uki files). Please revise all the settings before deploying an ukiyoe installation.

The following keys (listed in alphabetical order, although care must be taken if referring to previous entries) can be set in the CONFIG dictionary (default values are shown). Remember that in order for the new settings to take the web server has to be restarted.

The following are special CONFIG settings which cannot be modified:

The CONFIG dictionary is passed along to the templates (as the config dictionary, note the lowercase name). There are three special variables which can be set outside of CONFIG, shown below:

Previous: Advanced

Next: Downloads
